10-Day Standardbred Challenge Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Entry into the various 10-Day Standardbred Challenge prize draws requires completion and submission of the feedback form, which is linked to in the course content, within the ‘Prizes’ and ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ lectures in the Challenge portal.

Please email: raisingthestandards@hotmail.com if you are an enrolled participant and cannot see the link to fill out the entry/feedback form.

The ‘Prizes’ lecture also contains a full breakdown of the prizes on offer.

The closing date for entries for ribbons/certificates and prize draws is midnight August the 31st (Melbourne time).

Prizes will be drawn at random – using either a random number generator or names drawn from a hat, depending on the volume of entries – and announced on the Raising the Standards website and social media channels.

As soon as all 10 activities have been completed,  participants can fill out and submit their entry/feedback form.

Every Australian resident who completes all 10 activities and submits the feedback form will be mailed a ribbon, to be sent via regular letter post within 4 working days.  International entries will receive a downloadable certificate sent via email.

Rosette prizes will be drawn on September 1st and posted within 4 working days of submission.

International bridle bag/rosette prizes will be drawn on September 1st and posted within 4 working days of submission.

The woollen trophy rug will be ordered in a custom size, to fit the winner’s horse. The draw for this major prize will take place on September the 1st and the winner will be contacted to select their custom rug size before the order is placed with Skye Park Rugs.

Production delays may apply, depending on supplier demand. We will notify the winner when their rug has been sent and provide tracking (the rug will be sent direct to the winner from the manufacturer).

Shipping delays will apply to all physical prizes being mailed, with Covid restrictions making it difficult to anticipate how long parcels will take to be delivered.

In many cases, Australian domestic mail times are being doubled from the usual projections and international mail is taking around a month to be fulfilled.

We will provide tracking numbers, but have no control over postage times (and appreciate your understanding on this matter – it’s  a crazy time we’re all living in!)

Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash and the draw results are final.

Social media and gallery submissions are only valid for enrolled participants of the 10-Day Standardbred Challenge.  We will be cross-checking entries with our enrolled participant list to confirm elligibilty.

The feedback provided in the entry form may be used for quotes or student testimonials and shared on social media and via the Raising the Standards channels.  Your first name, the first letter of your surname and either state or country of residence will be used in these cases (i.e. Nic T, Victoria or Sally M, USA) and photo submissions may be included.

When you upload photos into the Gallery or tag Raising the Standards in social media posts, you are consenting to the images and feedback you provide being shared on the Raising the Standards channels (social media, email and websites).  Please leave us your handle, so we can tag you in shared posts!
